The comics for tonight’s show are:
A philosophy and political science major in college, Robert uses his sharp wit to cut through the most dense and divisive issues of the day. His trademark brand of smart, lacerating humor has made him one of the fastest rising comedians in the Twin Cities, and garnered him his own radio show on AM 950, Laughing Matters with Robert Baril, Additionally, Robert also draws on his experiences as a substitute teacher for his scathing material on the educational system, children, and society at large.
Carolyn Blomberg is a quirky, energetic comedian from the Twin Cities. Her obsession with all things funny began at the tender age of 12 when she stayed up past her bedtime and saw Saturday Night Live for the first time. Since then, she's been involved in stand up, improv, sketch writing and more. You can often find her watching a documentary about comedy or reading an autobiography by someone in the comedy world. When she's not doing that, she's creating disgusting, bloody effects for local films, music videos, and photo shoots as a makeup artist. Her eclectic background and intense passion for comedy and art has helped her become one of the most charismatic and charming comedians in the Twin Cities. She has met Weird Al Yankovic eight times.
Linda Aaron's quiet demeanor is a perfect set-up to her smart punch lines! Her knowledge of pop culture, keen insights into human nature and dry-as-dust delivery makes her a favorite with all groups.
She was first runner-up in Acme Comedy Company's Funniest Person in the Twin Cities Contest as well as a finalist in both the Iowa Comedy Festival and the Magner's Comedy Festival in Boston. Linda won Minnesota's Funniest Person Contest and has opened for Louie Anderson.
