The talented and wonderful comedian Wendy Berkowitz, hosts our comedy showcase at Wayzata Brew Works. Shows will be on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month...with a bonus show if there are five Thursdays! Each show will have three professional comics performing feature length sets. In addition, there will be a couple of up and coming talented local comics performing. Parental guidance is highly encouraged. :

Wendy grew up all over the US as a military brat which means- she learned to make friends fast because in two weeks, we're probably moving.
This helped her develop her warm friendly style she uses to entertain audiences all over the country for the last seven years as a comedian.
She is also the producer of "Day Drinking with Mom" a show that offers comedy, sympathy and some drinks to help Moms relax and enjoy the roller coaster of parenting.
Stories with my Muslim Mom podcast host Ali sultan saw his first stand up comedian when he moved to America from Yemen at the age of 15. He grew the desire to go on stage but first he needed to learn English. First year he made local history by being the first to win both Acme’s Funniest Person along with House of Comedy’s Funniest Person contest.
Ali began his comedy adventure to become the first professional Yemeni American comedian to be featured on Television when Kevin Hart hand picked him to perform on Comedy Central’s Hart of The City. In 2018 he filmed two specials one for Epix’s Unprotected Sets and Comedy Central Arabia Presents.
A regular performer at Acme, New York Arab American Fest, and the winner of 2018 Best of The Midwest contest at Gilda’s Laugh Fest! According to Wikipedia, Ryan Kahl was the mayor of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Proof enough not to believe everything you read on the Internet. But, believe this, Ryan is funny. Selected by Growler Magazine in January of 2018 as one of four comics to watch in 2018, Ryan is also a co-producer of the 10000 Laughs Comedy Festival in Minneapolis, Ryan has an undying will to please a crowd. His humor is distinct and personal.
Ellie is a mom. She is also a woman. She has a two-year-old son named Burt. She rarely has the time or ambition to paint her toenails. She was a long-time cast member and writer at the Brave New Workshop Comedy Theater, focusing on satirical sketch and improv comedy. She now performs stand-up comedy around Minneapolis and also Wayzata!
