Comedy Night

The talented and wonderful comedian Wendy Berkowitz, hosts our comedy showcase at Wayzata Brew Works. Shows will be on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month...with a bonus show if there are five Thursdays! Each show will have three professional comics performing feature length sets. In addition, there will be a couple of up and coming talented local comics performing. Parental guidance is highly encouraged.

The comics for tonight’s show are:

David Harris

David Harris is a nationally touring, Midwest Emmy Award Winning comedian, magician, actor, and host. He’s been entertaining across the US and Canada at top clubs, colleges, corporate events, and theaters for over 20 years. Based in his hometown of Minneapolis, Harris won 2017’s Minnesota’s Funniest Person Contest and performed in his state’s 10,000 Laughs Festival two years in a row. Harris has worked with some of the best in the business and has even starred in commercials and videos for Panchero’s Mexican Grill and Robert Half International. Cheryl Anderson

Cheryl is a soccer mom turned comedian. She has performed at some of the top comedy clubs in the country, appeared on NBC, Fox, and Nickelodeon, and has entertained the Marines in Okinawa,Japan. She has also appeared in numerous National and International comedy festivals. Her children are very disappointed in her life choices and hope this is a stage that she will soon outgrow.

Ryan Kahl

Ryan Kahl began his comedy career at the ripe age of 18 in his hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Since then, he's taken his act to multiple states, entertaining at comedy clubs, corporate events, and other venues across the nation. In 2015, Ryan moved to the highly competitive comedy scene in Minneapolis, MN where he has established himself as one of the region's fastest rising acts. Since moving to Minneapolis, Ryan has performed in The 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival and The Cream City Comedy Festival, was a finalist in the 2017 Funniest Person in MPLS Contest, and is a 2018 Growler Magazine Comic To Watch. Ryan is quirky, fast paced, and has a fairly traditional approach to joke telling.
