Dee grew up in North St Paul, singing along to her favorite vocalists and was a member of many local bands. She has worked with many of the local blues musicians as well as some national and international talent. In 2004, she formed her own band and began her role as lead singer and front person for her own band. She has worked hard to keep her band moving forward and that work is resulting in many rewards. In that time she has released two albums, a self titled studio album and a live recording from the Benefit for Allison Miller.
